Storm Panels

Storm panels come in sheets of corrugated metal or clear material. The clear panels allow light in while providing full visibility outside. This decreases the “cave” affect and increases security and safety for homeowners. Since the panels are clear, they can be left up during the entire hurricane season. However, if you decide to take them down, they are also the lightest storm panels. They are the most expensive option we offer, so if price is an issue, we recommend combining a few clear panels with aluminum or steel. One or two clear panels per room will supply a sufficient amount of light so you aren't left in the dark. The .05 aluminum is slightly lighter in weight than the steel and comes in two colors: silver and white.

Several different applications are provided to custom fit the storm panels to almost any window. Direct mounting will maintain the appearance of your home or business, while the track system eases the installation process and cuts down on labor and maintenance when preparing for storms.

Building Code

Be aware of height restrictions when planning your protection system. The panels are limited to 12' depending on the panel type and wind zone where you are located. All panels meet the large-missile impact test of the Florida Building Code (FL2773-R2 & FL6417-R1).
