Rolling Shutters

Roll shutters are the quickest and easiest protection system provided by Jansen Shutters. They roll down with just a hit of the switch, instantly providing a secure and enclosed area protected from wind-borne debris and hurricane-force winds. The motorized rolling shutters can be manufactured with a manual override, which allows you to get in and out of your home even if your electricity goes out during a storm. When not in use, the aluminum slates are guided by a track and secured in an upper housing unit. Rolling shutters parts are made of aluminum that's guaranteed not to rust. This ensures maximum performance and longevity, even in the salty and humid Florida air.

Building Code

This system is designed for use outside high velocity hurricane zones. Rolling shutters meet the large missile impact test of the Florida Building Code (FL12546 & FL11608) and is limited to 19' and 4".
