Bahama and Colonial shutters are the only protection systems intended to enhance the beauty of your home as well as provide a sufficient amount of security from the strongest hurricane winds and debris. It is made of extruded aluminum and comes with built in storm bars, eliminating the need for extra installation. Both shutters provide visibility when closed alleviating the cave affect, but also creating shade against the hot Florida sun. They are maintenance free and can be powder coated to almost any color you desire (over 60 colors to choose from).

Building Code Specifications
The height restrictions for the shutters are limited to 7 feet 3 inches. The Colonials and Bahamas meet the large-missile impact test (in compliance with section 1609.1.4) of the Florida Building Code (FL871-R1 & FL872-R1, respectively).
